16th October 2011 - Queensland Multicultural Festival

The Queensland Multicultural Festival is Queensland’s largest, free, one-day community event. The festival is the ultimate showcase of Queensland's cultural diversity and has attracted over 280 000 people since 2004.

It pays tribute to a broad range of art forms embracing music, dance, literature, theatre, film, sport, photography, visual art and traditional and contemporary cultural activities from many nations.

This year the Ukrainian Community was again represented at this festival. Singers, dancers and musicians came together to perform a medley of popular Ukrainian songs and a dance at this festival.
