There are three different ways you can make a monetary donation to support Ukraine – details of each below:

1. Humanitarian Aid in Ukraine via the Ukraine Crisis Appeal
2. Humanitarian Aid for Ukrainian Refugees and Displaced Ukrainians via the UCQ’s Ukraine Crisis and Humanitarian Assistance Council
3. Aid for the Ukrainian Armed Forces including food, water, body armour, helmets, uniforms, medical supplies and field hospitals via the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations’ U-HELP Fund.

1. Humanitarian Aid in Ukraine via the Ukraine Crisis Appeal

With the invasion of Ukraine, the population is in crisis. People are injured, displaced and need urgent supplies. #StandwithUkraine and help support through a donation.

We are collecting funds from members of the public if they wish to support our local Refugee Welcome Centre at our Ukrainian Community Centre in Galsworthy St, Holland Park West. We intend to provide the following important services (although not all may be available initially):

• Sourcing temporary accommodation/homestay
• Copying of documents and certification by a JP or CDec (important for future visa application)
• Application of further visa issues
• Translation of documents
• Medical checks/scripts for medication as needed here
• Counselling/support
• Hot meals, somewhere to crash, laundry service, somewhere to call home
• Welcome packs with essential items and information

Any leftover funds will be transferred to the Ukraine Crisis Appeal or U-HELP.

3. Aid for the Ukrainian Armed Forces via the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations’ U-HELP Fund.

The Ukrainian Government has requested support for the Ukrainian Military.
