As you know, the Ukrainian Community of Queensland has been collecting funds for the Dzherelo Children’s Rehabilitation Centre in Lviv for quite a few years now – it is one of our chosen charity’s.

Since 1993, Dzherelo has been offering services to children with cerebral palsy and other neurological conditions in the Lviv region. The mission of the Centre is to give these children an opportunity to attain their full potential in physical function and independence, and intellectual and social integration by, using verified methods of education and rehabilitation, training caregivers and educating families and the community.

Earlier this year, during our Malanka, we collected and delivered AU$655 to this Centre again. You can read the “Thank you” letter our community received from the Dzherelo and see what difference each of us can make to bring a smile to children who otherwise would have to go without things that we consider to be essential for the happy childhood.

Please, remember this when at the forthcoming Malanka we will ask you to contribute and show your generosity. A happy smile on a child’s face is priceless!

Як ви знаєте, Українська Громада Квінсленду упродовж багатьох років збирає фонди для Джерела,  навчально-реабілітаційного Центру у Львові, який є нашим підшефним благодійним закладом (https://dzherelocentre.org.ua/nasha-meta/).

Починаючи з 1993 року, Джерело надає послуги дітям з церебральним паралічем та іншими неврологічними захворюваннями у Львові та Львівській області. Місією Джерела є надати таким дітям можливість  досягнути їхнього повного фізичного потенціалу та незалежності, інтелектуальної та соціальної інтеграції за допомогою перевірених методів освіти та реабілітації, навчання батьків та вихователів, а також суспільства в цілому.

Цього року підчас святкування Маланки, ми зібрали і передали цьому Цетрові 655 австралійських доларів. Ви можете прочитати листа-подяку і побачити, що кожен з нас може зробити, щоб дитина, яка була б в іншому випадку позбавлена найнеобхідніших речей для щасливого дитинства, усміхнулась.
