Dear Members and Friends,

As I am sure you are aware, COVID-19 (Novel coronavirus) has been declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

The health and safety of our valued members and guests is always our top priority and we’re actively monitoring the situation and advice from WHO, Queensland Health. the Australian Department of Health, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as other international health bodies.

As a result the latest advice and information from these trusted sources, we have made the decision to cancel all events through to the end of April 2020.

The events that have been cancelled are the:

• Let’s Make Pysanky workshops (scheduled for 21st March)
• Ukrainian Social Night- March (scheduled for 20th March)
• Ukrainian Seniors Brisbane April Meeting (scheduled for 3rd April)
• Ukrainian Social Night – April (planned, but not scheduled)

We will continue to monitor this rapidly changing situation and make further decisions about future events as appropriate.
