A meeting for all interested parents and their children is planned for 2pm on Sunday 13 February 2011 at the Ukrainian Community Centre, 70 Cordelia Street South Brisbane, Queensland 4101.

We would like to meet and discuss with parents the possibilities for more regular Ukrainian educational activities for children, and to consult with parents to see what is possible, when, what time and how often. The possibilities depend on the parents, the number of children, their ages, and their language skill level.

We have teachers, for Ukrainian language, music & singing, art, and Ukrainian dancing.

We are very keen to have children of Ukrainian heritage interacting and more involved in our community. 

There is also an opportunity for the children of our community to perform at our Taras Shevchenko Concert planned for Sunday 13 March 2011. Be it by singing, dancing, playing music or reciting poetry.
