CANDLELIGHT PRAYER VIGIL FOR PEACE IN UKRAINE 

WHEN: Friday 31st January at 6:30pm 

WHERE: Brisbane CBD – King George Square 

Recent events in Ukraine have seen ever increasing levels of violence on the streets of Kyiv.

To show solidarity and support for Ukrainians in Kyiv and across Ukraine, we will be meeting in Brisbane’s King George Square, to pray for peace and an end to violence. We invite you, your friends and as many people as possible to join us.
 
We are planning to meet in King George Square at 6:30pm.

The location is subject to final approval by the local authorities, so please check your emails, our website and our social media before Friday, for confirmation of the meeting place.

We ask you to bring candles and wear Ukrainian embroidery/shirts if possible.

Please do not bring any placards or banners (as this is a vigil, not a rally).
 
We urge all Ukrainians of any age and encourage friends of Ukraine, to join us and show your support for human rights, peace and justice in Ukraine.
