The Ukrainian Humanitarian Educational and Leadership Program (U-HELP) was set up in 2014 by the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations (AFUO) as a means for Australians to securely donate much-needed funds to Ukraine.
In Australia, funds are administered by the board of the AFUO and transferred to an organisation in Ukraine called Patriot Defence. For more information on Patriot Defence visit www.patriotdefence.org/en
Ukrainian Crisis Relief Fund (tax deductible)
The AFUO established the Ukrainian Crisis Relief Fund as a tax deductible means to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine, in partnership with Rotary Australia World Community Service.
Funds go towards meeting immediate life-saving needs of the crisis-affected civilian population in Ukraine, providing early recovery assistance as soon as feasible, and providing assistance to save
and preserve lives, ease suffering and promote self-sufficiency.
