In light of the growing number of COVID cases and increasing hospitalisations in Queensland and across Australia, the Management Committee of the Ukrainian Community of Queensland Inc. have had to make the difficult decision to postpone Malanka.
We do not want anyone to contract COVID at one of our events, nor do we wish for anyone’s Malanka experience to be diminished by the current mask requirements.
All ticket holders will be fully refunded.
We will reschedule Malanka or a similar event later in 2022 once the current COVID wave settles.

$2 from every ticket sold is being donated to Dzherelo Children’s Rehabilitation Centre.

This will be a CARD only event. We will not be accepting cash payments for food or drinks on the night. We accept all major Credit and Debit cards except Diners Club.
COVID-19 CHECK-IN AND VACCINATION POLICY
Due to Queensland State Government regulations, from December 17th 2021 we will require all guests over the age of 16 to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
On arrival at the Ukrainian Community of Queensland Community Centre, you will be required to check-in using the Check in Qld app and our team will need to see a copy of your vaccination status or medical exemption, which can be in the form of:
1. Printed or digital COVID-19 vaccination certificate;
2. Online immunisation history statement – downloaded from MyGov, Medicare; or
3. Medical exemptions provided from a medical practitioner in the form approved by Queensland Chief Health Officer
Guests under the age of 16 without a vaccination must be accompanied by an adult from their household who is fully vaccinated within our community centre at all times.
In the event that guests over the age of 16 are unable to provide proof of vaccination or exemption, due to Queensland Government guidelines we will not be able to provide entry to our premises due to financial penalties for guests and businesses.
